    Default need help

    im trying to hook up noi on my computer tried computer with windows 7 and my laptop windows 8 I installed noi that is for both and it wont connect I had xp before but it quit I wrote down all my settings that were on it and put on other computers but wont work I tried to run network trouble shooting on windows 8 and it says network adapter not configured to nfhd r27 I don't know nothing about windows 7 or eight so if someone can help please jump in thanks

    When running network wizard there is a step let you choose your network and select file that you use and make sure you select your laptop wireless network and check mark on 27 file, after click next couple time it will give you the ip address to put on the receiver, there is two ip address option (first and second receiver) just use the first ip address and follow the rest with gatway and submass.

    I did all the setting I run set up wiz and nothing still cant connect ive tried on 2 computers and tried network set up wiz an nothing ive updated computers both to windows ten now and still no connect sure glad theres a lot of help out there but it seems who u are thanks longster for your help been a week now so wtf ill keep trying

    Can you tell us what is the network setting on the receiver and what version of Noi you using on window 10 , were you be able to start Noi at all?

    i have to start all over because i screwed something in my settings and had microsoft on here for 2 hours yesterday to fix it i dont know much about computers i followed the set up instruction that were posted on here but did something wrong last time i had it install on xp nobody1 came on and did it for me but have never seen him since and it worked good till xp crashed and tryed windows 7 with no luck now have windows 10 installed so will try it again im using the noi for windows 8 an 10 this is the settings on reciever

    dhcp/static--------static
    ip add------------192.168.001.73
    sub net-----------255.255.255.000
    gateway----------192.168.001.072
    dns----------------192.168.001.254
    download----------s/w
    pvr serverip add------000.000.000.000
    proxy--------off
    proxy port ---off

    i wrote down the settings of xp but when i put them in the noi wont even start if this is any help thanks longster

    on my internet protocol version 4(tcp/ipv4) properties its this

    use the following ip address
    ip add------192.168.1.72
    subnet mask---255.255.255.0
    default gate---192.168.1.254

    use the following dns server addresses
    preferred dns server --208.67.222.222

    then go to advanced

    ip settings
    ipaddresses

    ip address subnet mask
    192.168.1.72 255.255.255.0
    123.108.109.22 255.255.255.0
    123.108.108.138 255.255.255.0
    210.51.47.147 255.255.255.0

    default gateways

    gateway metric
    192.168.1.254 automatic

    then go to dns
    dns server adresses,in order of use
    208.67.222.222


    those are the settings i have on computer that i had on my xp one

    ok got noi in gray fuzzy screen says server1 but stuck on channel 12850 do i need to rescan reciever

    Ok thank you but what setting do I need to put on my receiver? In order to work both server? For r25 file
    Currently I have on my receiver static that use for 27f file do I keep the same on my receiver ?
