It seems awfully quiet here. I wonder if the idea of a factory reset is scaring some off. I just flashed the firmware today and had no problems after factory reset, but I did boot the receiver into recovery to flash and factory reset instead of the normal method.

I haven't had a chance to play around with it much, but I'm very disappointed to see that the transponders weren't updated for 110, 119 and 129. Really guys, would it have been so difficult to include in such a long awaited update? As advertised, pvr channel loading is a lot faster. I haven't tried or found the channel delete function yet, but I'll play with it later. Kodi has been updated to 15.0. I suspect they didn't go to a higher version because they haven't touched anything to do with the tvheadend server, and seems it's incompatible with 16+. Other than that, not much has changed. Still android 4.2.2.

When I get a chance, I'll try to put together an update for the transponders. Prior to upgrading, I had my box patched for the proper transponders. I did this by hand through adb. I should be able to roll the changes into a bin to patch the new firmware.

Seems to be working a lot better for me. I had a glitch with screen going black for few seconds every so often with Samsung 4K.
Now only have seen it a couple of times. Channel load is way faster.
EPG is solid now if you change update to every 15 mins.
It's a great improvement lets see if what they said about new update soon will be true or we have to wait 3 months again.

I've noticed I'm having some issue's with the sound sync.

On some channels the sound is a not in sync .or delayed.??

    Has anyone noticed this?

I also found that when I switched tv's ( unpluged unit ) then pluged in again it would freeze on startup, had to do a hard restart to get it to load Kodi. before new bin I didn't have this problem.

Yup.. I've always just used the audio offset and never thought it could be cause of the update...
