Is there an STB capable of both?
Is there an STB capable of both?
Thanks guys, was looking to retire the NFHD and get a 2-in-1 setup going. But it sounds like that's not a good idea....
Think the Dreamlink T1 is a good option for IPTV then? Local guy is selling them for $125.00...
try the mag 250.......its cheaper and works great i have that one
I remember a receiver that had stalker for IPTV and ran FTA with Linux, Raptor or something like that. TP

There are no stupid questions, only stupids that don't ask....
It is much cheaper just to buy a separate Android box (under $60) and watch IPTV from it...IKS on on its way out (especially with a new encryption standard coming and Charlie is upgrading their receivers in anticipation) and I think IPTV is here to stay for the long haul...
That is true, eeks could be near the end, but SAT TV is alive and now with stand alone with a few thingy. TP
To me the mag250 is just a bit too slow, might as well spend the few bucks extra and get the mag 254 or 256. Or even try the Avov online ver2 or Online 4 if you have the cash to spend. At least with the Avov you can run kodi as well as the iptv. Haven't tried the Dreamlink as yet but it looks promising.
I have both the 250 and the 254 there the same to me the 250 is just cheaper....the avov I have it too I still think the mag box is better I think if you want kodi look for a better Android d box that does kodi
After my IKS provider went "out-of-business", as they all seem to do eventually, I get all my TV from FTA antenna for locals and Kodi for movies, live sports and events and catch up on missed favourite TV shows.
Has anything changed as far as a 2 in 1 STB?
