I don't do that sort of testing, but after a little searching on the web I don't find that anything has really changed. The anysee message is going to be part of a larger log of the start of the program and I'm guessing that you have an Anysee board for DVB-S2. You might be configuring the program to try for a card that is not the current one in use. You might try reading the log more carefully or post parts of it that are not private info so that folks can spot where the problem is.

Are you sure you are not trying to get 8psk signals on a board that does not support them?

I'm using a genpix skywalker, with dvbdream. I had this same setup years ago with no problems. It is not a firewall issue, as I allowed DVBdream in priogram control. I was getting a winsock 10013 error, but after I changed my firewall settings, no more problem. Everything is perfect in the cardclient.conf & ACamd_PMT.txt files. The server works fine(north). Maybe my server does not allow newcamd?

Using Acamd 6.2 with DvbPlus and Skywalker 1 and working fine. Try opening up the Acamd monitor and click on the active tab and uncheck the CAT and PMT scan functions. Don't know if this will help but worth a try.

DvbPlus needs a step by step tutorial to set up properly. The sat.ini file is the key to getting DvbPlus to run properly which includes setting up seed transponders for each sat you wish to tune. By tuning in these providers transponders DvbPlus creates a channel.cvs file which eliminates the need to scan in sats. DvbPlus is an unfinished product created by a guy by the name of Sierra. Too bad this never got further development because it was way ahead of its time. This is not an easy setup.

Based on this post it sounds like some time is needed on the set up so Johnny, if you go with that file be prepared to spend some time on it and make sure you back things up prior to getting into it.

I got it working! I had the provider ID wrong. I forgot the north was 1815, not 1816! Stupid me! Thanks Anubis, Steve & jvvh5897 for trying to help!
