Hi every one!
What type of netgear router works with xx-client?
I did a quick search and as far as I can see the answer is none. All the stuff I see involves Linksys. Lots of info over at fta*eta.

Any router you can run openwrt on and some that can run dd-wrt on but must have write access to the jffs folder for dd-wrt. For Viewsat you will need to add the serial interface (China flybay). I like to buy the one that is the male com port so you can use the old loader null cable.
What model netgear do you have? I will tell you if you can do it.
The easy choice is dlink dir615 (most version but not B) also the DIR 601 is easy running openwrt. You will need to google how to get the com port working, look up how they do it for andrino.
So, Goo runs under openwrt? I haven't read anything other that that quick look around. They seemed to show only broadcom based router was supported under Goo.
Yes it does with the gooware found here:

It's in the NF section because the last hardware he add support was NF, there is also a windows port somewhere on this site I think.
My friend next door runs one NFHD (IP) and one VSHD (serial). But he had a bugger of a time trying to get the serial port freed up. But he found information when searching serial port in a router andrino.
