Have you updated the meter lately?
Also that meter only works for QPSK signals, last year Dish went with Turbo 8PSK on most transponders.

Yes updated the sat files........that's why I am wondering if this Birdog won't find anything from dish cause dish went to 8psk format.

I've got a Birdog Ultra, a week ago I noticed it wouldn't detect 110. I updated a couple days ago, but haven't has any calls for dishnet. I've also got an older Birdog USB Plus, I'll charge it up overnight and check it out tomorrow on my dish.

OK, with the USB meter I could not get a lock on 110 or 119 with the new updates. I did get a lock on 119 using BL 72.7 setting.
On the Ultra 119 works, 110 doesn't lock on the 110 setting, but locks on both 119 and 129.

In option 2, I would select Dish Network. With the Ultra you can have up to 4 lists, so I would have a list for Directv, Bell, Dishnetwork, and Shaw. In each of those lists there were multiple options for different satellites and lnb types.
Just got an Applied Instruments XR-3 with a turbos S3 module yesterday. Had a chance to use it on Directv, Bell, DN, and Shaw dish alignments today. Will write a review on it in a week or so, but so far I'm really impressed with it.
