    Hi! Anybody has the serial firmware and installation instruction for this project??
    I went to JBProjects.net.. there's no file and the instructions are in chinese ..

    It's only when you go the SOFTWARE paragraph then click on X-WRT or INSTRUCTION, it's in chinese
    I already added the serial port to the router, can't get it to work.. Please if you have the software and
    instructions ,, send me a link .. thank you

    This is what I got on ebay "MAX3232 RS232 Serial Port To TTL Converter" .. I flashed the router with dd-wrt, I don't know if I was supposed to flash it with open-wrt instead.. but today I was playing with it, I got the message "control words not received".. this means it's communicating
    Maybe I don't need firmware for the serial connection..

    google dd wrt wrt45g serial port, you will get lots of hits with pictures. Trick is you need to use the second com port in the router not the first, as the first is in use.

    If running dd wrt you need a router that is v1-4 or you can't get access to the port. A dlink 615 is much easier.
