    Default Dead LAN Port

    Hello gang, have a JynxBox V3 with the LAN port dead, can this be fixed or it will only work with WiFi. TP

    Mine Lan died too. I used my WiFi adapter that came with it and it works fine.. only thing is everytime u turn it on.. just go into menu setting to refresh to find router.

    Mine finds the router right away, but I will like to find out if the LAN Port can be fixed, somebody told me voltage spikes can damage de LAN but what exactly is damage is the question, could it be a capacitor, or........ IPTVKid

    Lan on mine died as well. Was working fine using wi-fi, but now freezing for long periods of time, like internet connection is cutting in and out.

    Hi dale88, If I recall correctly, some jynxbox model come with a LAN port that is actually a daughter board plugged into the motherboard. If that is your case you might just need to re-seat the daughter board. If your LAN is soldered to the mother board you may find re soldering the pins works.... If you can solder. Finally, if your wifi is not making a good connection, you can try moving the box and router closer together, eliminate interference such as phones, nanny cams, and a host of other devices that use the same band width. Google is your friend finding these types of devices.

    Check the little wire pins on the LAN connector, they could get bent or out of alignment, (somehow) the LAN input IC is very robust, it has buffers to keep the signal levels in the right range, this IC chip is an analog to digital device, (analog in/out on the LAN connector, digital in/out on the receiver side.
