NHRA Top Fuel driver Antron Brown is now a three-time champion, having advanced to the semi-finals during Sunday’s NHRA Toyota Nationals in Las Vegas while his rival, Doug Kalitta, was eliminated in Round 2.

Brown was knocked out by J.R. Todd in his semi-final round, who advanced into the final to take on the Morgan Lucas Racing machine of Steve Torrence. Torrence made it across the stripe first to take home his third Wally of the season.

Over in Funny Car, Ron Capps continues to lead the points as he made it into the semi-finals, where he was eliminated by Courtney Force. Courtney advanced into the final to take on her father John Force, who edged out his daughter to take his fourth win of the season. However, the day’s Funny Car action will be best remembered for a wheel stand by Cruz Pedregon in Round 1, who still went on to win the round, but whose car was to damaged to make the start line in Round 2.

It was an all-Gray Motorsports final in Pro Stock, with Shane Gray and Drew Skillman squaring off in the final after defeating the KB Racing points leaders of Jason Line and Greg Anderson in the semis. Line continues to lead the points heading into the season-finale in Pomona.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, three riders will go into the final with just three points between them as Jerry Savoie took home the Wally when Andrew Hines red-lighted. Hines and Eddie Krawiec are now tied for the points lead, after Hines knocked out Krawiec in the semis, while Savoie sits just three points back.

The NHRA Auto Club Finals will take place in two weeks at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona.
