Default DPP44 POWER SUPPLY INSERTER with DiSEqC

    Hello

I need to power my Jynxbox with some sort of external power. I'm on my 5th. JB200/8PSK tuner

    Will this do it?

How do I set up my DiSEqC 4x1 Switch with this power supply, or can't I?

    Thanks for the help

you need a DiSEqC 4x2 or 4x3 or 4x4. your power inserter can go in the receiver 1 or 2 port on switch. the jinkbox on the other port
of 1 or 2. now you have power going to LNBS. but you only need power inserter if the LNBs are DPP and more than 2. if LEGACY LNBs DO NOT USE power inserter at all... DPP is the best LNBs to use however. just my personal preference. and many others.

your dish needs to be if using a 1000.2 DPP antenna port 1 119 port 2 110 and port 3 129 again this is with DPP lnb on a .2 and when you setup to scan birds. you use these setting also.
if a dish 500 with just 110 and 119 still go with 119 port 1 and 110 as port 2. same in scan setup.

We need to know what brand and types of LNB's you have.

I thought the solution to Jynxbox tuner issues was to load Az Link sw into the box--they say it runs the box cooler and that seems to be what kills off the tuner chips.

By design a diseqc sw should only power one LNB port at any one time, so the power inserter should not be needed with standard LNBs that only draw 0.15 amp or so. Now, I know some folks run prov dishes and LNBs that pull lots more power, but they have their own switching system built in--so you don't really use diseqc sw with them unless you are running lots of other dishes in common with that prov equip.

Anyone know where I can get "Az Link sw"?

Must be in the AZ file section?
