Man i'm sick of windows control on my laptop

Looks like i finally have success in blocking windows update assistant from showing up on my desktop and trying to download. Of course they make it as hard as possible to stop and you need to go deep in admin tools to do it. Not only in one place but two, and even with that you need to disable roughly eight things.

Thank god for people on the net as frustrated as i am with Gates and the windows monopoly posting video tutorials.

This could, if it holds save me from buying another device because the computer itself runs great, it was the constant failed updates that caused the headaches.

I looked into them but one went further than i wanted to go....risk wise and the other didn't work. I really appreciate the effort in trying to help though.

If you view the entire video link i posted you can see just how many steps were needed.......unbelievable work just to get them to leave me alone.

Still holding after 48 hours so I'll consider this a success......I should say that getting a HP laptop without an intel processor such as the pavilion didn't help. If i knew Microsoft windows would have that difficult of a time with a HP computer with a different processor I would have made a different choice. Just a heads up for future buyers, AMD Radeon processor is most likely not a good idea.

Lol, Yep, I'm assuming most people enjoy that start up, i did to but when they force the update assistant icon on your desktop DAILY, and then you try to update your system, which after attempt after attempt fails........Welcome to Windows......hmmmmm
