    Cool Sonicview AV Connection

    Output from the yellow,red,white connections stopped working does anyone know if there is any capacitors that could be the cause

    Never heard of that failure on an SV...but anything is possible.Can you try it on another tv to confirm/eliminate it as a problem?

    Don't have another tv,but going to check out the connection at the tv.Couple of years back my hdmi output from SV failed to tv but the same hdmi input to tv works with other connections, so am now using component for HD output. Thanks for input The Noof

    Other people with SV's have the same problem with the HDMI Hookup, bad/loose connection on them
    that's why the component setup, rare to hear about component failing ?

    Can't say I have, just the HDMI seems to be the common issue with the SV and the power supply is weak
    There is a guy on Ebay that repairs the power supply, blown capacitors etc. which might be your problem ?

    I would take it to a friends house & try it there.You don't need a sat to see if at least the menu works.Worth a try.
