Question universal LNBF linear, circular, C/Ku

I used to do C band way back in the day, first analog and then digital. At one point some company's came out with a universal LNBF that was both linear and circular on the Ku side and linear on the C band side.

Is there still such a LNBF? I thought they were called Universal LNBF C/Ku. Google is not helping much.

I am asking for a friend. I'm trying to tell him to us a C band LNBF (not much on Ku) for linear and fixed dishes for circular... any thoughts?

If this has been beat to death in another thread please point me that direction

    TIA, JETS

I know some here dont like it but the titanium dual cband lnb is what i use, works good. The chaparral lnb is better but its only a single. On average it puts out .5 to 1 db gain over the titanium.

I think your suggestions to use dedicated Ku circular is correct, or perhaps run second lnbf sidecar. Circular lnbf have dielectric plate in throat behind scaler. I did some test5-6 years ago inserted dielectric in throat of ku back section of bsc-621 and also test swapped in circular legacy with offset scaler removed both performed poorly on 10ft mesh found it easier to use dedicated for Ku.
