Front Display

Just wondering if anyone has any ideas why my front display stopped working. Also my power button and channel up/down no longer work on the box.

Do those buttons light up when you press them on the remote Look through a cell phone

The green light flashes when I use the remote.

Some obvious questions but have you tried a power off/on from rear switch or factory reset?

Yes, powered it off and unplugged the unit for 15 minutes as well. I never tried a factory reset? Will I lose all my settings if I do that?

You will lose your sat settings not your server info
If the remote is good the the it sensor needs replacing It's an inexpensive fix if you can do some light soldering The front display is likely the same issue

I will try the factory reset hoping that it solves it. If not it’s still working but no clock/channel display I can live without it.Thanks guys for your input.

To be honest, if the box still works and all you've lost is front display i wouldn't even bother with a reset.

As mentioned above this sounds like a inside soldering
job, if you want to go there.
