I have a linkbox 9000i since may this year and the hd module is often failing, the sd channels on bev works great though. You have to download the epg , sometimes it’ll download the next 2hrs by itself. It’s very easy to use and program.

after two years without problem my HD module failed...came back two days later...failed again a month later
looks like it could be a connector loosing problem
    what do you think?

My 9000i local work good on north and south no issues coming in but when switching from north to south it hesitates a bit.and also no local option. U have to go to 8100-8105 ny locals and works

    Whatever you do...don't buy a 9000i....lol

I was thinking my HD module was gone......watching sd channels since a couple of weeks
now i'm loosing vertical tp channels after 10 to 60 seconds...have to tune an horizontal one and go back and it works for another 10 to 60 seconds and poof no signal....well the tuner is faulty

i just switched back to my old CNX nano2 converted to iLink
i just remembered how it was cool to have an interface that is fluent and cool to use

I hated the 9000i from the get go even if the image is great
navigating with it is a pain in the ass
    EPG is not user friendly
    remote needs two hands
switching from epg to vewing mode and back...the sound cuts off 3 seconds every time (i hate that)
when the network disconnects...it still shows the connected icon and rarely comes back on its own
you have to go in the network menu or reboot (i hate that)
the volume is very slow to respond (i hate that)
When you aim at a satellite the search function is more than crappy
    its zero until its 98%
no way to be spot on by gradation and on top of that...no sound when aiming the antenna ( i hate that)

Well i'm done with this sub....i'm happy its broken
I'm in this hobby since the start...at least 15 years
    i had 5 different subs
this was the worst of them all
Don't touch it with a ten foot pole

just found out my freesat v7 can handle iks faster then my linkbox 9000i. Too bad it can’t handle turbo 8psk. For 30$ that little receiver is impressive! The linkbox is great for hd but for 300$ with delivery and the ls module it makes it expensive.

The best way to keep the ls500 module alive is to unplug the linkbox everytime you’re done watching tv.
