Wired is always better, but the Vonets adapter will work long as you configure it first to access the internet
before you try to use it with the T5. PC,Router/modem, need to see it, and be able to access internet first (config)
then it will work with T5

The receiver does not have the drivers needed to run the Netgear N300 Model WNA3100, it is used for widows based PC's and laptop's, the computer will look for and load the proper drivers for that device..

The Netgear WNCE3001is a universal WIFI device used for Blu-ray players and smart TV's, it does not need the extra drivers as it has them pre-installed.
