What I see in the photos is a bad place to mount a switch, also there are no rain caps on the un used ports.

In the #4 photo the coax jacket looks to be cracked (or is that paint that has cracked) if this is the case then the coax has been compromised and water has gotten into the coax shield and jacket.

The switch mounted out under the dish is a problem if there are no rain caps on the unused ports, also I do not see a ground wire attached to the switch.

I would do as the others have suggested and try one of the LNB's directly to the receiver by bypassing the switch, this will tell if the switch is bad or not.

If that coax is cracked then it needs to be replaced, also some sort of rain cap needs to be put on the unused connections on the switch or the switch needs to be in a water tight box.

Proper grounding of the system may also help.

Water intrusion into the coax will not show up right away but take some time to affect the coax or internal workings of the switch or coax connections, if the coax has a copper coated steel center conductor (a small magnet will tell) it can rust, this will cause all sorts of bad things to go wrong.
