Default Need help with lnb and switch settings. I have a dp34

So its been like 2 years since i messed with these setings in dreamlink hd's dish settings and im a total noob to these settings and knowing what to put for each satellite and dish/switch setting. All i know is i have a dp34 hook up with 119 and 110 so i was just wondering was settings do i need to put in LNB type. frequency, 22khz, Diseqc SW 1.0 and Diseqc 1.1 and Legacy SW?

Any help is greatly appreciated as i bought my package already but i forgot how to set these up and im sitting here with my family just researching how to set this up and came to nothing and was recommended to come here and ask. Thanks guys!

First thing you should do is determine if your lnb(s) are DP or legacy. If they're legacy they won't work with the switch. Are you using more than one receiver? If you have a dp twin or quad then there is a built in switch. So you'll need to provide more info for someone to help.

thanks for the reply I appreciate it.
My lnbs must be dp because I had these lnbs and satellite fully functional with the Dreamlink about a year ago so I know it works with my setup it's just a matter of knowing what the settings were. I have Just one receiver. When I looked at the equipment connecting the two dishes it said dp34 and it has I beleive 4 inputs but I'm only using two (110 and 119) please let me know any other info you need so I can get the settings correct for the Dreamlink HD interface. Ima take pictures in the morning of the dp34 if that's possible here.

I don't see the purpose of the DP34 switch when using one receiver. Typically 119 is diseqc port 1, 110 is diseqc port 2. LNB type is ocs-dp.

A picture of your two dishes and the LNBs would also help.

If you have two dishes than you probably have a Dish Pro single or dual LNB on each dish - with one dish pointed to the 110 satellite and the other dish pointed to the 119 satellite.

I would bypass the switch first to make sure you are getting a signal from each dish.

Take the coaxial cable off of the DP34 that is going to Port 1 (To Dish) and join it to the cable going to your receiver with a coax barrel connector - this will give you a direct connection to your dish bypassing the switch.
Now go to your DreamLink receiver go to Installation and then under Dish Settings
under Satellite select 119.0W EchoStar 14
    LNB Power: ON
    LNB Type: OSC-DP
    LNB Frequency: 11250
    LNB 22KHz: Off
    DiSEqC SW 1.0: 1
    DiSEqC SW 1.1: Off
    Legacy SW: Off

You should get a blue signal bar for S and Q at the bottom and at the top it should say EchoStar 14 119W

If you are not getting a signal - then you may have to repoint your dish.

If you are getting the 119 signal - then do the same thing for the other dish - 110
Take the coax off of Port 2 on your DP34 and connect it to the coax cable going to your receiver with a barrel connector - select Satellite 110.0W EchoStar 10/11 (leave all other settings same as you used for 119) and see if you are getting a signal for the 110 dish.

If you are getting both signals - then put the 119 dish coax into Port 1 on the DP34 and the 110 dish into Port 2.
Under your DreamLink sat settings use DiSEqC SW 1.0: 1 for 119 and use DiSEqC SW 1.0: 2 for the 110

DP34a.jpgthis switch has 3 inputs on the right to hook your sat 110 and 119 and 4 outputs to hook up to 4 receivers..
the 3 on the right are used to hook an additional switch for example another dp34...
that will give you an option to hook up to 8 receivers..

    antenna settings are as follow:

    sat 110..
if your using DP type lnb,,
    LNB Power...ON
    LNB type...OCS-DP
    LNB frequency...11250
    DiSEqC SW 1.0...PORT 1
    DiSEqC SW 1.1..OFF
    legacy SW...OFF

    sat 119..
    LNB Power...ON
    LNB type...OCS-DP
    LNB frequency...11250
    DiSEqC SW 1.0...PORT 2
    DiSEqC SW 1.1..OFF
    legacy SW...OFF

You are a god , this is what I needed. I'm on the roof as I type and the setup you said Is exactly what I have. Will attach photos if I can. 1 receiver connected and both 110 and 119 connected to one dish on left. Will put the settings and see. I went through hurricane Maria so I might have to re-calibrate the plates. I did it myself ages ago with an iPhone app I had but I don't know if I'm up to doing that again if I have to. Lol thanks for the help, I'll respond back. I can check if my dishes are calibrated on my Dreamlink box right? On manual scan I beleive it turns blue if it's locked? Thanks

What do you mean when you say "I dont have one dish btw." ???
Your picture #2 shows that you have one dish with a yoke on it and two Dish Pro LNBs on the one dish - so hopefully it is a Dish 500 that you can adjust the skew.

Before you said you had two dishes - but I only see a partial picture of one dish. You have 4 close up pictures of the DP34 switch that are meaningless.

Pull the cable off the DP34 and put it into your dish and directly to your receiver and see if you get signal. Why are you messing with the switch until you know if you have a good signal???
The DP34 only adds more confusion to your problem - simplify your situation and find signal first - then worry about the DP34 switch.

You don't need the switch to see if you have a good signal.

Fricking autocorrect. I meant I DO have one dish. I haven't done anything with the switch. Just sending pics to show my setup as asked. I put the settings you guys gave me and no signal. I guess I have to recalibrate.

I'm not saying to do anything with the switch - I am saying get rid of it until you get a signal. Take the cable of off the switch and run a cable directly from your dish to your receiver and then see if you get a signal.
If you don't get a signal for both 110 and 119 - then repoint your dish until you do get a signal.

After you get a signal then you can connect your cables back to your DP34. If you have the correct settings and still don't get a signal when connected through the DP34 - then the switch may be bad.
