Perfect Player works good has a good epg
If you are using CrownTV - just open a browser on your phone go to crownip.biz and enter your User ID and password

I'm running kodi 16.1 because my tele firmware is 4.2
It is actually not that bad DU - Crown is not like it used to be for sure but I have a few friends that have tried the other servers and have gone back to Crown.
I tried Crown on my Samsung phone a couple of days ago and it worked great - you can use the same account as your main Android Box and put the User ID and PW on any of your devices as long as you only use one device at a time.
You don't have to install any apps - just open a browser. It's also handy if you want to show someone how IPTV works - you can use their own phone.
I was able to get the VODs to play on a Explorer browser on a Windows computer but couldn't get the live TV to play.
OK2 is still my go to server and I haven't used Crown for a while - but the channels that I watched were all stable. I think I'll try it on my Buzz today and see if they've improved the server.

you will need the url info for your provider to input into the app. the url should include parts to enter or username and password. you should have 2 urls one for log on and one for epg

I just put Crown on my Buzz to check out some channels as I haven't used that service for quite a while.
I checked History and see they have 3 History channels.
120 History - appears to be the Canadian History channel - but it is showing the EPG for History US. The guide was showing American Pickers on at 12:00 but they were playing MASH and that is what is on now on the Canadian History channel.
They have time shift available and it is working - I re-wond to 8:00 AM and it was playing Yukon Gold.
373 History UK appears to be playing the History US shows - they had American Pickers on at 12:00 PM - but there was no EPG or Time Shift available
374 History 2 UK - no EPG or Time Shift - was showing Top Marksman and now some UFO show
I watched these 3 History channels for about an hour and didn't see any freezing on any of them so far.
I'll leave it on Crown for a couple of days and check some more channels.

I have the URL that I use with a browser and have the User ID and Password - but it doesn't seem to work in Perfect Player. It works if I open a browswer - put in the URL and enter the User ID and Password - but doesn't seem to download any playlist when I use PerfectPlayer - it doesn't ask for a User ID or Password.
I don't have a URL for the EPG.

That's what I am wondering DU - it was my go to service for a long time - but then became unwatchable for me and most of my family/friends. It seemed like everyone was switching away from them.
A few of my friends started watching it again - so I decided to put it on one of my boxes and see how they are doing now.
I was able to grab a channel list for all the channels by copy and pasting from the browser and I put it in a spreadsheet.
If I get some time I'll go through the list and see how many channels are actually working.
So far it looks pretty good - I haven't had one freeze in over 5 hours now and I like that time shift feature.
Also being able to run it from a browser on your phone or anybody's phone without installing any app is pretty neat.

to use perfect player you need to make a m3u list from your subbed url examplethis link is working now but may dieCode:http://78.31.67.188:8000/get.php?username=B4H6F3FG&password=B4H6F3FG&type=m3u
paste the code to your browser and open it with notepad save it as "whatever .m3u" without quotes place the m3u where you can get at it in perfect player. At the top of perfect player providers playlists
go to the blue + to add the whatever.m3u list.An add playlist box will come up click m3u add any provider name
next line open the playlist url button all the way to the right your list should show up where you put it open the player check the list.
Thanks Highwayman
I downloaded the list and saved it to a folder on my C drive.
I put the list in Perfect Player and I can see the channel list - but nothing plays when I press the Play button.
I tried using both UTF8 and CP125 encoding - but neither seem to work. Which encoding should I use?
Maybe the list is dead now?
