Default ok2 on new wifi router

    Hi all,
I am having a little issue and hope someone could help.
On my old wifi router the channels play without problems.
On my new router i can log into the server and see all the channels but nothing will play.
Does anyone know of a setting that i would need to change?
the new router is a Asus rtn66u
    thanks

Your only using one router at a time right?

If so it could be the MAC address of the new router, all forms of internet connection devices have a MAC address, this is unique to that device, it could be that the service your using is seeing the new MAC address from the new router and not working correctly.

On some routers you can change the MAC to the old one,(clone) be very careful in doing this, the MAC address's have to be exact or the router may not work at all, copy (write it down) the old MAC off the new router before you do this.

Here is an example, but not for your router......
    Code:

Have you confirmed this by switching back to your old router?
Several of us are having a similar issue with OK2 at the moment. No new equiptment in the mix here thou.
I only use the service from time to time, mostly for PPV events so its hard to say exactly when the issue started. With some sort of work being done to the OK2 servers i've just assumed its related to that and will sort itself out sooner than later.

its actually a friends android box that has the problem. 2 days ago it was working and then all of a sudden it stopped. i tried the box at my place and it was fine so i also took his router and plugged it directly to my modem and has the same problem.
It would log into the server and only the vod would work. After i changed the mac address to match the one on my router it worked. Only thing now is when i bring it back to his house i assume that i will need to change the mac address to his modem address which i'm not sure how to retrieve.

It all depends on who the ISP is, there are several ways, but depends on the internet supplier.

Just do a Google for ""how to retrieve your modem's mac address"", and find your ISP.

    So back to this issue
My modem mac address is is actually on the modem from the provider.
If i use that address the iptv will not play live stream. if i use the mac address on the router i have that is also from the provider it does work. Both mac are complacently different.
Now when i try to fix it at my friends house the problem is that he only has the modem from the provider and uses his own TP link router. So he only has the 1 mac address on the modem that does not work. I tried to use all the mac addresses from the cmd prompt in windows and no of them work.i even tried the " auto + clone mac address" option but none of them worked .

possibly using the box mac addy and asking for a server reset might work

so i had the mac reset and still the same problem.
I also know someone else that hooked up to the same service provider and they are also affected by this and only Arab channels work.
they have tried reusing the old router and all the channels work. now they need to send that old router back and use the new one but with only the Arab working. I'm positive that its a setting in the router that is causing the problem.
I have tried mac address change, fooling around with the ipv4, ipv6 settings but still wont work.
Anyone have something i can try?
BTW i i'm also with the same provider and it works without problems...... i'm lost
Problem routers are TP Link and ZTE H268A
    Thanks

you don't use the mac addy of router or modem for service
you use the mac from app you use
example mac you get in stbemu or say a buzz box
my zoomtak has 2 mac addy's
one for the box itself and one for stbemu
so I would use the mac from stbemu
