    Default Losing Sound

I'm using a toslink cable for the surround sound. Sometimes after a few minutes of watching TV I lose the sound and I have to change the channel and change it back to get the sound again. Any ideas on how to fix that? I'm using the HD20E file, HDMI sound is set to PCM, Autoselect dolby set to yes.

I haven't had the box too long. Brought it used recently. I also tried dolby as well. Doesn't matter. The sound is stable from the HDMI cable to the TV, but I don't use it. I use the toslink to the audio receiver to get the surround sound. The sound surround is the one that stops working and then I have to change the channel and back. I also use the same toslink cable from the TV to the audio receiver to test it and its fine.

It does it with DTV (ota) as well. Recently and because of low sound output I switched from pcm to dolby in a/v menu. Noticed a few days ago while watching a local station the sound just dropped out for no reason. And as you did by moving the ch. back and forth the sound came back. Though it was just with me until I read this thread. It did it again so while the sound was out I pulled the a/v menu up via the yellow button and switched from dolby back to pcm and the sound came back. Switched from pcm back to dolby and the sound went back out again. So from what I'm seeing it is either a sware and or hware issue while in dolby mode. Plus it maybe related to only 1080i. Not real sure on the 1080i but haven't noticed the issue with 480i but if I do I'll post. Have it going from stb to tv via HDMI. Sound on the tv going to an antique surround sound system from the 90's via 3.5 audio/headphone jack.Which converts to standard rca r/w audio cables. Just an fyi.
