Default video quality on new Dreamlink T2

I just got my Dreamlink T2
Set-up was simple, but the video quality seems to be disappointing, unlike what I have been seeing on the previous one - Dreamlink T1 Plus.
I checked the resolution and it's on 1080p, changed HDMI cables, not on wi-fi, but on direct cable input, still, the video quality is like standard DVD.

I also use a MAG 254 on the same TV, and video quality is good, so what can be wrong here.

I believe that problem is in the settings area.
    DISPLAY
The HDMI auto adaptation appears to change when I turn off the TV. That's why the video quality changes
    CUSTOM SETTINGS FORMAT IS 1080p/60
    UL SIZE
    720 UL

    Samsung Smart TV

How do I get this to stay in the settings?
    I need help here

If a Mag 254 has a better picture than the Dreamlink, there's GOTTA be something wrong with it.
