Default Sanity Check - Channels missing?

Hey Good folks of Satfix.... I've just come back from vacation for 3 weeks. I noticed when I came back, I've lost access to 129 and some 110. I traced the problem due to my bad Dish tri-band LNB (1000.2). I purchased a new LNB and mounted it. I deleted all channels and started fresh. I've lost about half my HD channels and I don't have 9421 (Velocity). Can't get a lock on that TP.

Just wondering if it me (likely) or if others have also lost a whack oh HD Channels?

    Running a Dreamlink T5 with a 1000.2 Dish.

    Thanks,
    Steve

I haven't really changed anything. I just replaced the Tri-LNB. I am powering it with a phantom 18V power supply. It's been working like this for 3 years. Maybe I need to tweak the dish or my suspicion -- I purchased a "rebuilt" LNB and perhaps this one is a bit deaf...

I reset the channels and did an Autoscan from fresh, thinking the channels had moved around - but no joy.

So if you are saying that you get all the HD Channels, including Velocity, then I need to fix something on my end...

    Thanks!

I dont do iks but it is your end if you cant scan in the channels.velocity is an open channel
go to manual scan and check your tps against this list of conus channels

I'm pretty sure I got a bum LNB -- Pretty much all channels are coming in with 1-5% this morning. I was a refurbished unit. So note to folks out there -- stay away from those units I'm off this afternoon to find myself a band new LNB -- I'll let you know how things are going once I install a new LNB.

I had only deleted the channels and did a auto scan after replacing the LNB. I couldn't get a lock on the Velocity TP when trying to do it manually.

Thanks for confirming you are getting those channels.

Hi Guys -- Just and update -- I purchased a brand new Tri-LNB for the 1000.2 and mounted it today. Deleted all channels and all the channels came back, including HD channels and Velocity. Just want to thank you guys for your help!!
