    Default sonicview 8000 channel scan

    having some trouble scanning in all the V pol. on the 119 sat anybody know why my signal stealth is weak on the V pol. when scanning

    these are settings only the V pol. on the 119 are the problems
    any help greatly appreciated

    Process of elimination I'm afraid. Had an issue a few months back with mine that I thought maybe the sw21 switch. So I swapped out the sw21 for a diseqc switch which seem to correct the problem at the time. Less that a week later starting having issues again. Had a look see at the lnb and the plastic cone on the feed horn had a crack in it which allowed water to collect inside of it. Changed the lnb out with another I had laying around and problem solved.

    Check your LNB and cable connections, could be corroded/rusted conductor, bad LNB, wire come loose,
    switch not working right (13v-18v) etc.
