Default Noi quit working I need help

I have windows 7. It updated itself and now noi doesn’t work. I did a system restore which worked. But overnight it updated again and it stopped working again. All the restore points are gone. I tried creating a restore point but that didn’t work. I tried deleting noi and downloading it again and that didn’t work.? I’m desperate for help?

The system restore didn’t have any dates to choose from ,they disappeared. After googling forever I came across an article telling me I had to manually remove the updates one by one. Sheesh, took over two hours. But after I removed them, rebooted,it worked again, thank goodness. I did do as you suggested and turned off the updates. I hope that’s safe and doesn’t bugger up my computer. But I never use it though lol. Just want my t.v. Lol
