This one is a odd duck that seems to appear only when the secondary player is used but not the older default player.
Anyone else seeing this or find a work around?

isnt using the default player a workaround?
Need to explain more
Not really as it doesn't work with streams very well anymore and often losses connection.
Powering the box down does cure things for a period of time.
Its a odd behavior since you can start watching tv and things are in sync but the minute the info leaves the screen the video freezes briefly and things go out of sync.
Odd to say the least and not a issue the older player had.
Best guess is something not clearly probably when the units left running leading to the video stuttering and going out of sync but the question is what.
dont have any of those issues
been using secondary for months
no issues with live or vod

I like the secondary player the most. However it goes back to old default (4th option) often which causes buffering in VOD. How do I keep the "secondary" player as the default option?
Wild guess but i saw this has something to do with the version of android on the box.
I reported it and they are looking into things so we shall see what happens.
Which iptv service are you using?
I had this issue a while back on secondary but I believe it's a codec thing. I changed to default since then and everything is fine.
They are some channels the secondary player would not play but the default embraces everything. Personally, I've always liked secondary player.
I use a private service that consists of 6 servers one being cod123.
There is certainly a codec issue but also an android version problem.
The older version of android is more mature and the playback/codec more developed so less issues.
The newer android 7 is less so hence issues showing in it that don't happen on the older android.
Mine is a perfect example of android 7 tossing in a audio sync issue not seen in the older android.
I got in contact with buzz and they tweaked something which seems to have removed the audio sync issues after being in standby.
Iam guessing this is going to get pushed down the line once they are sure its working.
