    Default Lnb's

Does anybody know if the type of LNB that you use would make a difference in unscrambling certain sats ? I'm unable to get the TP for 1832 to scan in on my T5, that feq won't turn to blue on the S. & Q on freq (12) 12.370 GHz, as far as what people have told me should be the freq for 1832.

As long as it's a circularly polarized LNB for the 12.2 to 12.7 GHz kU band it should not matter what type or brand.

Some OEM LNB's (Dish, Bell) use band stacking, this means you need coax rated out to 2.5 to 3 GHz or you will be missing out on some transponders.

Standard LNB's that use DC voltage to switch between transponders need at least 17.5 volts DC to switch to the horizontal transponders, and below 14.5 volts DC to switch to the vertical transponders.

Two different sources has it listed as being on 12632. Of coarse both could be outdated. Could check for stress cracks in the lnb feed horn which could result in water on the inside. A bad switch could be suspect as well.
