as far as popularity, ufc in canada is what's boxing is in states .. makes me sad but very true
back in a day I remember making a trip to different city to find a bar that is showing a fight
now Buffalo Wild Wings are showing boxing, but it's far from packed on boxing nights

I think it has lot to do with GSP .. his popularity carried over and everyone took interst
Canada doesnt have GSP in boxing, its really bunch of average fighters that only hardcores care about

Let's face it boxing sucks, you can box for about 20 maybe 30 seconds per round or run the whole damn fight......my grandson boxed a few weeks ago and I'm not to proud to say I didn't go.......his performances sucked......grandpap won't take a comp ticket
