HLS or MPEGTS for ok3

Is it normal to have to switch the stream format in the ok3/smarters app when using ok3 service.

Streams would not play and the application installs with MPEGTS set to default. everything plays when switching to HLS is that correct?

Also i was under the impression that ok3 was 265 but see 264 under player info when a stream is playing.
