Default Disappointed in iptv picture quality?

Just wanted to make a suggestion to any of you that are disappointed with the video quality of the stbs.Ive tried the t2 prime, several versions of mag, avov & mygica:All 0f them have "soft" pictures compared to regular hd cable or htpc.
If you have a decent computer, you already have a far better iptv device (picture quality wise) than any of the stbs I've seen.It will cost nothing extra to add Android & stb emulators to your pc to watch your iptv programming on your computer.I was amazed at the picture quality difference:the computer was FAR better, but it only makes sense:a decent pc has much more power than an stb.The limitations are the emulators themselves (I don't like the interfaces of the stbs that are emulated very much).Something to play with if you don't like what you see on your tv.
There are other advantages as well, such as MAC spoofing so you could use one account (if it's cool with your provider) to watch on any of several htpcs (not at the same time).Play away.

For the record, I ahve 3 htpc terminals in my home, all very similar:amd 4core 4ghz/2gb ddr5 Nvidiacards,16gb ddr3 ram, Sounblaster Audigy cards, Hauppage tuner cards, 240gb sata primary & 1tb storage drives.Perfect for htpc.I have testedthe stb/htpc comparison on all 3:same results.

Thanks for the tip:I'm using OK3.Their service isn't the issue...the hardware was.I'm sure people will recommend other stbs like the Buzz, but why bother:I already have a solution

Are you talking about using the htpc to drive an average sized pc monitor or a 65" or larger television ?

I havent purchased any of those boxes for the simple reason dont want a closet full of junk anything that needs updating is garbage to me.Obsolete boxes with newer versions is a sales game!Biggest reason i havent gone there
is cause they can only do half what a htpc can do.I dont sub and dont do boxes bet i have 10 times more iptv than owners of these boxes at no cost.My suggestion is learn iptv and what you can do with it.

Precisely sir....at the end of the day, even a rudimentary computer is better equipped (from a hardware point of view) than most of the Chinese torture devices. It will always boil down to cost before quality with 98% of the masses though. Not me.lol
