Unhappy BUZZ TV Disconnects to Internet

    Hi

    I got a BUZZ TV XPL 3000

And a third party IPTV tv subscription.

The BUZZ TV is connected to Ethernet the cable is then connected to my Dlink wireless router then the router goes into the modum.

When I start watching IPTV or YouTube etc the BUZZ TV disconnects from the Internet after 19 to 20 minutes of streaming.

Dose anyone know how to fix this ?

if it is happening on iptv you need to turn off the auto shut off app option to Never.
While using iptv hit menu then configuration and select auto shut off app to never.

    Try that might help

Go to settings and make sure ethernet is enabled and wifi is disabled.

Friend had a similar issue with his Buzz box a few months ago and it turned out to be the Dlink Router (DIR-1935) he had purchased from Costco for about $150. I lent him my old Asus router I had lying around, and it fixed his problems.

He had latest firmware installed, had done factory reset a few times, and tried disabling any active firewall features, but still same issue. Very strange behaviours, and it Was not worth the hassle, so he changed it.

Needless to say, he returned the Dlink Router very quickly, got a new router from Staples, and has not had issues since then.

I think that fix the problem. I turned off my dlink and just used my internet providers modum to see if that helps and its now stream for about a 1hour now.

Going to return the Dlink and get another brand. (Saying away from dlink).

I will keep you posted if anything changes.

There been a ongoing bug with some of the dlink routers in this regard and combine that with a lack of firmware updates you get a major headache.

I prefer Asus routers since you have a far more support.

You also may want to check your dlink model as some of them can use third party firmware which fixes the bugs and lets you use the hardware again.

Ddwrt and tomato are just a couple of the major third party firmware providers.
