    Default ethernet is not connected

    showed this today & can't find solution changed all connection reboot the whole deal. I even tried my other box on same connection & works only thing would be a bad Ethernet connection in box? any ideas guys.

    they have been known to fail on occasion
    Make sure network card is not loose



    this worked for someone with the same issue

    keep the Ethernet cable plugged into the box while the switch from the back is off, unplug the router, and your modem. Wait a couple of seconds, plug in the modem and wait until all your lights are solid then pplug in the router. Finally, turn back on the switch from the back. You should be good.

    tried still no go it said checking then Ethernet not connected. is the LAN connection soldered on or just pulls out? any other fta box inter changeable with lan connect

    found solution for some reason the plug I use was not receiving internet. I use d-link that use electrical in house for internet when I tried a different plug worked maybe the main d-link feeder is getting weak or whatever but solution found thxs fo help nobodyspecial
