I have been waiting for the update as I'm with Rocket and the movies always pause... it's unwatchable. Funny thing is I removed all updates and am now on a april 2018 update and using the (damn can't think of the name) BETA viewer and it works better than the july 2018 update. I hope I get the new update but if it isn't working any better I will go back to the April version.
One 2018 box has the update the other one got yesterday has yet to get the update.
Also has a weird habit of reverting to Chinese lol.
Have to mess around with it tonight see whats going on.
Is the update server actually on?
Three out of four boxes have not received the update and the one that did was last Friday.
Talked to our local store and they received a huge number of complaints that the vast majority of the boxes they sold have not received the update and no one seen any box update since last Friday.
They mentioned boxes that were sent out of factory with firmware from july are not seeing any updates be it the new one or anything in between.
Others with newer firmware are also not receiving updates
This is quite unusual for buzz tv which is normally quite quick with getting the updates out.
Is there a issue going on here that we haven't been informed about but should know?
A staggered release of the update is understandable but a utter lack of any updates even accounting for for the holiday shutdown time is looking quite odd.
A complete lack of information on whats going on is not helping matters much.
i cantacted the seller he claims that the updates are off because of holidays. he did not give any fixed date to resume updates.
