    Default Resolution Settings

Noticed today after switching my resolution settings, provider that I'm subscribed to no longer freezes or buffers. Is it just me that has noticed this helped or just a coincidence and maybe less server strain today and possible upgrades happening? Still running the August 2018 file so nothing to do with any updates from buzz although looking forward to it on Monday. As well, noticing better picture quality and less jittering.

Just to note my connection is wired Ethernet (20 upload / 90 download).

Let me know your experiences or if any settings tweaked have given noticable improvements.

    Thanks

It's just a coincidence..... resolution would not have an affect on the stability of the service you are using.

Good question. The proper answer to your question would be to match the settings of your television to that of your buzz to not overload the video/audio feed. Slight tweaks can make a large improvement as I have noticed today from having made changes last night. 23 hours and counting from leaving on all night without a hiccup or glitch.

Tv to tv settings will differ as all makes have their own capabilities.

    Hope this helps.

The video resolution out to the TV from the receiver should not affect or cause a problem with buffering or freezing of the incoming signal, it's more then likely an internet connection problem,(WIFI if used as the connection could be picking up interference) a problem with the ISP (you have exceeded your monthly bandwidth allowance and they have throttled you back) or the receiver it's self. (software problem or internal problems)
