Hope this question is in the right area. If not could you please move it to where it should be. Having never had IPTV is it more reliable then IKS for being up and working or are the two about the same? Thanks

with iptv, you have more alternative: if one channel is down, you may find another UP with same show, ex soccer game.
The difference?IPTV works.
And no dish not stuck with Dick only tv movies sports music how did those idiots spell it
pron or porn from around the world!
That is very true but not all people can't afford the high useage of the internet some seniors are paying up to a 140.00 a month for internet in canada you need high speed unlimited its very expensive here .
the biggest difference is data use iptv use way more like 100 times more so if you limited to data caps iptv will most likely not work for you. other than that 1 thing iptv is way better.

I only have have 200 gb a Month with IPTV.At about 3 hours a day of streaming T.V. I rarely go over 100gb.Its not that bad usage wise.It is much more reliable then IKS with Dish.IKS with Dish was a waste of my money pure and simple!I can't say for IKS with Bev because I never tried it..
Hello bluenoser
$140 / month for internet only ? wow... Or bundle with internet, TV and phone ?
Wow.. Sorry to here this, but where is this ?
Only place I can think of, is the suburbs where bell or basic cable providers are nowhere to be found, and you are forced to use satellite internet or LTE internet. Even something like xplornet (which is not cheap), offers $80/month for LTE 10 internet service with 300GB/month included.
Here in QC, you can now get Gigabit internet (or close to it) from Bell or Videotron with unlimited data for about $100/month usually (plus or minus depending on promos). Videotron just added a 400/50 cable plan with unlimited data for $85/month (with a $20/month promo discount for 1 year, for new customers - so $65/month for first year).
Yep i'm rural and pay 140 a month for 20mbs sucks. It's not satellite. It's not explornet either.Someone i know just got it and they are slowing his connection down for streaming anything illegal. They also offer unlimited now but it's not much good when you can't use it without a VPN.I'm sure they will find a way to block that stuff soon to.
Comwave has 30Mbps for $50cdn per month with no caps and works anywhere that has Bell(spit) service. A friend of mine out in the sticks here uses it for iptv without issue.
