yes it is tiny but its only 150m off the mainland so i dont think that would be possible

the foxes are there for natures balance , if removed something else gets over run. the penguins may have fallen as easy pickings for the foxes but not there only food supply .

I understand your point:we continually play "God" & decide what lives & dies.
On the other hand,if those penguins were put in danger because of mans mistakes, I think it's our obligation to ensure the survival of the species, much like we tried with the Rhinoceros.

Foxes were actually introduced to Australia for recreational hunting and became an invasive species.

They also introduced rabbits for hunting and they also became a troublesome invasive species.
