IPTV in's and out's
I went over to a buddies the other day and saw his IPTV setup. While I got to admit I've been and IKS holdout I was impressed with his IPTV setup. Good quality HD and channel line up is stellar.
The reason I held out was because I did not like the fact that when the Android OS would update and then you need a new box. Buddy says because IPTV has it's own app it's not the case that when the OS changes the box still works, he claims this to be true for the Mag anyway, but said there are others.
Is it true the app continues to run after and Android OS update or is it only if the box supports it?
Because OS like Window and Linux (Ubuntu) have a much longer life am I better off dedicating a PC or small form factor PC for IPTV?
Well that is a start. BTW I have lost of hardware including some not to old Android boxes and lots of PC's to run either Windows or Linux.
