(search transponder list) auto transponder scan set 12224000 R sr 21500 8psk 2/3 scan time 90 ms general settins all the way through. each provider. it will populate transponder list and scan them no need to build a personal transponder list like these fta boxes. as for the 91 just change the sr from 21500 to 20000 and change 2/3 to 7/8 and modulation unset or undefined

I can only scan if I edit the XML to linearH for 82. But I'll try the 90ms scan time...

It can't be my setup as dvbdreams works at scanning everything..

there is few options there for dpp lnbs , I believe override default frequency 11250 low and 14350 high, disqec would be A,B once you get signal try the search transponder scan with on 82w 1222400 R sr 21500 2/3 8psk it has to be 8psk ... 91w at 1222400 R sr 20000 7/8 leave the rest undefined or not set. also you wanna tick in the each provider before you scan. maybe someone with a dpp setup can help with that here? as I dont have to test that.... switch (LNBSW) these might be the settings? 17000 to 19000 if you have a providers diseqc switch. not completley sure on that one?

I could never get it to scan and work properly with MP. Getting EPG and CAMD to work are more headaches.

Mediaportal works amazing what are you talking about ? with all those you mentioned you have to edit and play with your transponder list this you dont ... other then setting up the scan like any other. this is way more stable when streaming then any of those others trust me i have iused them all including some linux builds .epg populates it self if you setup the epg setting right it will grab days of info with out having to go get alternitive epg from online and at that epg buddy is easy to setup with tvguide.com. sorry to hear it was to much for you old Johnny. epg works nice channel logos record while watching another channel so much you can do camd is easy to setup lol mdapi i bet was your problem not many know this but the only version that works great 1459 the other after were junk causing freazing... dvb dream is fine but do you really want a web browser feel lol and there again you have to play with transponders. it i nice to have a guide that looks and works great . easy is for ppl either don't understand or have no patience this doesn't require that much lol since you offered no advice to help why are you commenting Johnny? also for codec sharkcodecs 32x 64x is the way to go for mediaportal. i will say out of all these others mediaportal has the best picture of any....just my opinion.

The last time I tinkered with MP was in 2012. You mention 1459? It that the MDAPI filter version?

You may have to edit the file that lists the tps and you got to get the frequency correct along with polarity. I believe you can change your lnb type to single, this will trick system even though you have DP lnb. It's alot of hard work, good luck

So I can't scan circular R it need to be at linearH on 82 on 91 I can only scan linearH and nothing on the other side.. I have set the scan settings PMT 90sec SDT/VCT 90sec, it still only scans 167 channels

Strange that dvbdreams works 100% so not sure if it software or hardware
