I know someone will pipe in but as I found out the T5 has the hard coded EPG channel in firmware.
Example: DN would go to WGN 239 when I hit the epg key. So I could press the epg button and if 239 was included in my favorites categories, it would update. I added that channel in each of my favorites. Eventually it quit working, or seemed to for me.
So going to a channel that did have epg data would eventually populate the guide.

I would think that the T5 coders are done with firmware updates and so far I've found no editors (like the ALI editor for my Linkbox 8000) to modify the epg channel from 239 to one that works.

If anyone does know of a firmware or channel list editor like ALI for the Broadcom chipset please throw it up here.
