my place is a stacked town home. The dish would be on the rooftop terrace with deck. I can bring in the coaxial from thru the a/c line on the deck, which leads into a mechanical room. It is the issue from there, I have no clue where to go. In the main bedroom almost below, the box with all the cables is there. I only need to drop down to one floor and run the line about 15 feet, to reach the cable, internet etc in master bedroom. from there I can use the coaxial throughout the house, as I use it for nothing and feed the line to my TV. Ideally, I want it one more floor down, but I don't want to cut any holes, is this even possible? What is best to follow, the duct work or electrical outlets? My neighbour is a electrician from this site, he might be able to help.

Is this possible, to convert Cat6 to coaxial. for example, my one Cat5 cable is up on the third floor, we had it installed in case we wanted to have the wifi extend to rooftop, but what if I feed a new Coaxial line from outside into where the Cat6 is then use a converter if possible???, Then cat5 runs down to the rest of my coaxial cable runs to a cable splitter to the tvs and convert again from Cat6 to RG6 cable?

Sadly no you can't, if you could then you could just use power-line adapters to carry your satellite signal anywhere in the house.

Yeah, I have seen products like this before, but most reviews said it didn't work, yet some people say it does, hard to know who to believe......

what if I got a cable installer in. What would a 50 foot run cost me in Canada approx? Honestly, rather have it done, and done right. Any guys in Toronto area? Basically need a run from the rooftop terrace down to 2nd floor bedroom. 50ft run max.

not sure what to do then..I cannot stand the picture quality on iptv for sports, IKS vs iptv there is no comparing, unless someone knows a great server for hd quality sports.

What I did was drill a hole right next to cable input (cable box plate on inside wall) to the outside and ran my RG6 through it
Cleaned everything up so it looks like a Pro installed it. Not sure if you can do this but worth a try ??
