Romie (Releasing MAC addresses)

I apologize if I posted this in the wrong forum. If so, please move it in the correct forum.

While I'm disappointed that Romie is out of the business but I am concerned that I have an existing sub with OK2 that I bought from him. If I have to renew with another provider can I still use my existing MAC address or I have to ask Romie to release it for me (if he ever answers my email requesting it which I doubt)?

Is that possible to change my MAC address? I have a Dreamlink T1 Plus. I thought the MAC address is permanent and unique on any electronic device.
