Just my guess but it wouldn't surprise me by 2030 dtv and dn will be no more. Love it or hate it but streaming seems to be the way of the future. Not much left in the way of fta as well. Guess I'll ride my pan out till there's nothing much left to fry. I bounce back and forth from sat to firestick even now. Ota has them all beat in picture quality imo now. Well maybe for exception of c-band. Ota has come along way since analog. Oh well life's about change and nothing stays the same.

They had 2 different model receivers;1 basic and the dvr model.
The basic has a usb port and ethernet port but are disabled.
It was probably just a firmware difference to get both ports working.
No smartcard like the old days,it used a sim.
Not everyone on earth has high speed internet.

I got the letter from the bankruptcy lawyers in the mail today.
I haven't subscribed since last summer so it has no effect on me, but it makes it official that they went belly up.

Boy that was short lived. They didn't offer a very good variety so no big surprise. With the others taking such sub losses every quarter makes one think how much longer they have.
