I totally agree. I'm going to get a few more sticks next week if this this stick fares well.

So far I quite like it. I do prefer android 7 but this stick is quick and does the job. I like the powerkey definition option which isn't with android 6. I'm more worried about future proofing and will it get updates.

It's not using the "buzztv2" app but instead the "buzztv 195" app. Right now it's on app version 307. Has m3u support so that's good.

I'll test out recording features this week as well as install a few apps on it that I generally add on the boxes for customers for movies and tv.

So far performance is on par with the 2 gig buzz's but I've only used it for IPTV.

Argh...I can't turn the stick on after powering it down withe BT remote. I have to resort to unplugging the power. It can wake the stick up from standby though. Will have to do more testing.

After using the 3100 for a week now it's not bad. Powering the unit on with the BT remote after I turn it off sometimes doesn't work and I have to unplug the unit to turn it back on. Also this stick runs super hot after 5 minutes of watching almost to the point of unbearable to touch like if I were to unplug it from the HDMI port.

Are there any long term issues with the unit running so hot like damage to the internals?

Oh and tomorrow I'm going to try to install the buzztv2 apk (version 317) and see if it works on this stick.

So would the 3100 dongle be like having the 3000 basic model box? If it is, wouldnt it be better to just get the 3000 basic and not worry about heat issues mentioned above and being sure to get updates?

Think this is targeted at people wanting something cheaper than even basic and something small otherwise yea I would def get a box that has Ethernet and more USB ports. The 3100 does come with airremote which is a plus
