What is the difference? Mags OR Buzzxpl?
I like the MAG's because they are pulg and play, but am I missing somthing? whats the advantage of having a droid IP box? can you install stalker on that box to make it like a MAG?

Mag's are good for server use only if you want more get a buzz box.
Mag do only Iptv.
Android boxes, firetv ect you can run stbemu it’s a Iptv app that runs just like mag interface and droid boxes also run other apps.
Buzz and dreamlink are also android boxes but they come with thier own custom Iptv players with features/options and interface.
As dishuser said 2 new very promising boxes comming from buzz very soon.

Memories..
Damn they had no guts.. But they lasted forever. 2 of my buddies had them (actually one had a chevette, and the other had the pontiac version, the Acadian). No matter how much punishment we put on those cars, they refused to die. At the end both cars were scrapped, just because the body/frames was all rusted out, but that was still 20 years later... And for teens, they were great. You'd put gas in them, and you'd forget when you filled up last, since they barely burned any gas. Then again, nether does a lawn mower.
They surely got their moneys worth. And your arms would get a good workout as you drove it without power steering.

Thanx for heads up. Was wondering why last few months I havnt had any replies to pms from anyone.
I prefer your standard android box over any mag or buzz box.
There are a lot of great streaming apps outside of what mag or buzz allows. Plus, a good android box has more processing power.
what mag or buzz allows ? Older mag boxes may be limited (they are pure STB). I don't have any of the newer ones, so I can't comment on those. But the buzz does not restrict on much. It is an Android box, with custom IPTV viewing app (which is great btw), and it does NOT restrict you from installing anything else and using that. I have b33TV, cy3erfl!x, and all sorts of other streaming apps on my buzz, and they all work flawlessly.
That is personal taste, but there is NO android box or android App which will give you an viewing experience (at least for IPTV) like any buzz, dreamlink, formuler, etc.. real STB designed for IPTV in the first place.
Processing power is not everything. I have a few android boxes, including a MiiBox3 and an S912 android box which on paper (with 2G ram, and 16GB storage) is a more powerful than any S905 based box (at least it was 2 years ago when I got it - and still pretty good), yet the viewing experience is not even close for IPTV. The MiiBox is the BEST for Netflix (short of getting a shied), since it is 4k out of the box and uses proper DRM, since it is a true AndroidTV box, not a hacked android phone version to fit on an android box.
Now, if you plan to use it mostly with Kodi, and other Home theater apps to stream from your local collection, that is a different story. Buzztv and similar boxes are designed primarily as IPTV STB, with the nice option of being able to use other Android apps. it's 8GB internal storage is obviously a little limiting, but I don't install THAT many apps for it to become and issue, and all recording, I send to my microSD card. 2GB of RAM is sufficient for 95% of todays apps.
All the typical android IPTV apps, including stbemu, iptvsmarters (which most are not based on nowadays), and even perfect player are not at the same level. OK, perfect player is not bad, but the loading time is ridiculous with most IPTV services, it is just intolerable. IPTVsmarters has some very strange scrolling through EPG, and you can find yourself with timelines all over the place as you scroll through it.
There is no perfect box, they all have their pros and cons. But for pure IPTV, something like the buzz, formuler and dreamlink boxes blow generic Android boxes out of the water for viewing experience, I don't care which android box you have. And if it is a cheap generic Chinese unit, good luck in ever seeing an update. My buzz box has gotten at least 3 or 4 updates in the last year, and even my aging MiiBox3 has still gotten 2 updates. Can't say the same for my cheap Chinese boxes, who haven't even seen a single security update.
