    Default IPTV on MXQ Box?

Someone i know would like to get IPTV and does not want to invest into a new box.He has an older MXQ ordinairy box.Is it possible to get IPTV on this older box? What does he need to do?
Note,I have IPTV with a Formuler z7+ and i just give my Mac adress to activate,Would he just need to do the same?

I tried it with the Mac adress I have on my Formuler 7+.The box is slow and sluggish and STB EMU is not user friendly like what I have on the Formuler 7+.Unless I can get a good deal using two boxes on the same Mac adress,I will need to convince my buddy into buying my formuler 7+ and I will get something newer like a Z8

Get a box that allows you to change the mac address:very useful, & your mac can never be held prisoner by an iptv provider. The Buzz stuff is very good. The epg function is far better on the Buzz too.

I love the formuler 7+ that I have.I tried a Buzz xpl 3000 and ended up selling it because it would freeze up at times and would need to be disconnected from the wall socket to reboot. The guide was better then the Formuler 7+,but the formuler gets frequent updates and the remote is also far supperior.I know most seem to prefer the Buzz on this site but having tried both,I now worship Formuler Boxes.

Try wickediptv app. It works good on cheap KM8 box.

I have xpl3900,xpl3000, & several T2 primes.I would pick the T2 hands down, except for the slow, inconsistent guide & fixed mac.The Buzz is far superior with respect to epg.
