Lightbulb 6 seconds delay when switching channels.

Greetings to all, First time posting.
Current settings: OK2 with MAC on STB Emu Pro 12.0.4 (latest) on T95Z Plus Android Box (Android 7.1.2).
The STB EMU is using Mag254 emulation.
Of late (nearly a month) I have noticed 6 to 7 seconds delay when switching channels, either going up & down or directly inputting the channel # through remote.
I have cleared cache, reset data, deleted & reinstalled STB Emu Pro will all new data.
I also completelt reset the t95Z Plus box also.
I have also restarted the Modem and Router.
Interesting enough I tried a 1 day trial of TVZon and the channel switching was instantaneous.

I am a technical person but can not figure this out.

    Any suggestions are welcome.
Please excuse me if I have done something wrong.

    Regards to all.

6 to 7 seconds is a little steep.
On my Mii box which is not a speed demon of any sort, using the latest STBEmu also, I get anywhere between 2 to 5 second MAX depending on the channels. And I checked on my Buzz and I get about the same, maybe a small tad quicker, but nothing really much. I don't really mind, since I use the EPG anyhow, and it is still not too bad overall.

BTW: On STB Emu, did you try changing the Player ? On 1.2.0.4 there is a total of 7 options (Internal Player, External Player, MPV, ijk, VLC, Exo, and AUTO). As un-intuitive as it is, I find that "Auto" seems to be the quickest for channel changes overall. You'd figure it would be slower, due to stream analysis to decide which player is best, but seems quicker to me right now. And I even got a few channels working, which previous player was giving me a "stream error".

There are a few other channel issues (some mentioned here already in other threads, like DejaVu [wrong stream],SpaceHD [no stream], etc..), but I'm sure there are more critical things to stabilize with new panel s/w before they can look at channel issues.

The team's work is always appreciated. They haven't let us down so far.

MY DL T1 is about 6 to 7 seconds. I never really thought about it until I read this post. To me it's no big deal.

Yeah it been taking about 6-7 seconds to load in for the past week at least. I'm sure once they can fix, reset, and add channels it will be solid / quick again
