    Default Hard Drive dual format

    Does anyone know how to split the recording hard drive to NFTS and FAT32 ?Thanx in advance

    I know you can do this on a computer, but I don't think your SV 8000HD can do this. But I may be wrong, the SV experts may need to step in.

    Could be done on a windows 7 computer using the disk management utility.Create a partition, make half fat32 & the other half NTSF or whatever.The SV will only detect the fat32 anyways.

    Small older drive but as stated above...Disk 2 volume E & F in attachment

    Bigger the drive the bigger the headache but just my guess.

    A little tricky to navigate with the mouse but also possible in W10.

    Same drive as before but volume D & F in this example. Have some bigger drives but didn't want to subject them to unnecessary formatting. This drive if I remember right is a Seagate manufactured in 99 that I put into a drive enclosure some years ago.
