Question Hotel WiFi with buzz xrs4000

Hope someone can help me with this.

How to connect to hotel WiFi that requried to enter their password?. On my iphone and labtop I get google page to ckick on their T&C then enter the password. However with Buzz it doesn't open the page just said connected. I tried opening Google chrome but no luck.

    Thanks in advance!

I think what is he trying to say How to authenticate the username and password for the wifi signal on the android box on the hotel network.

In some hotels, you need to input the hotel room number example room 300, 301 etc and then your last name before connection to the wifi is authenticated. On the android in google chrome it doesn’t come up with the ability to input the credentials but on a windows pc and phone the screen to input the credentials pops up.

A workaround that has been confirmed is connect to the hotel wifi with your phone or computer and then use that as a hotspot for the android box. Works great.

    Thanks

I have a GL.iNet GL-MT300N-V2 Mini Travel Router (less than $40.00 on Amazon.ca) which I carry with me.

Plugs into USB, takes a minute to set up to hotel wifi and can use VPN if I want. Then connect via Ethernet cable or Wifi to it.

Use puffin, after a minute or two the site will come up or refresh’s to the hotels site. Puffins is the only browser I have had success with in terms of hotel/motel wifi

Done few times on different android boxes. Used chrome and it worked but had to manually set time as certificate error shows and won’t allow to continue becuse Time is wrong.Think any web browser should get you to hotels portal where you can enter pin or code to acess internet.
Once had to manually type the address becuse it didn’t automatically go to it on android box. I got adress from my iPhone when it connected to hotel wifi portal.

I know this is an old thread but look up travel router.

Comes in very handy and they are cheap if you want to use any hotel wifi with other devices.
