Default Mag box vs IPtv box

Sorry guys, I asked this question once myself, for strictly iptv, what makes the dreamlinks and the formuler's superior in picture quality than the mags, or does it? I have a friend who wants a mag, I have a formuler z7, and think picture quality is good, but I can't confirm in comparison, as I am not techie guy. I have been in iks and satellite for years, I don't love iptv quality compared to iks, strictly for sports, I don't find the picture as good. Can we weigh in on this in more detail, to explain pros and cons of the two types, in all aspects or perhaps it has already. Thanks

I started with Mag254 then 256, 322, 420. Then I have also tried formuler, dreamlinks and Buzztv. Most people will tell you that these boxes have better pic quality than a Mag box. But I beg to differ. Strictly, IMO, any Mag model has a better picture quality than any Android based boxes. But you should test/try yourself before making decision to buy any box.

Have you owned a buzz 3900 or 4500?

Yes, 4500. I know it uses LibVLC Player as the default player. It is fast and other two brand boxes are also fast enough but I personally like the pic quality of a Mag box better but I am sure some users will have a different view and I respect their opinion.

You have to level the playing field when you make comparisonsroperly state the hardware you use to make your comparisons.
I consider myself a man with eyes & ears for reproduction media.Your playback hardware may be different from the masses, so please state the hardware you base this opinion on.
In MY opinion, there is no better picture on ANY iptv stb than the Buzztv 4500.I have tried many. The 4500 is on par with my best htpc setups.I test on a Panasonic 65" 4K hdr, as well as 2 60" 4K Panasonic hdr.My audio playback isn't a factor in this discussion.
Using all viewing methods available to me, the MAG line is the one I'm most likely to use to wipe my arse when I run out of toilet paper.
