    Default Xrs 4000 Resolution Settings

My buzztv xrs 4000 keeps reverting back to 1080p under advanced settings / display / screen resolution . I have to manually keep moving it to 4k 30hz . Also the top section for auto switch to best resolution is greyed out so you cant even access this section ? Any help would be appreciated .

On the user interface for the xrs4000 under advanced settings / display / screen resolution it keeps reverting back to 1080p60hz . I change it to 4k30hz and save the change but the next time icome back it reverts back to 1080p60hz . Also on the user interface under resolution settings the top section - auto adjust to best resolution is greyed out so i cannot access this section

Are you sure the content you're watching is 4k in nature? If your particular tv doesn't upscale, it will revert back to the programs native display resolution. It all depends on your tv & the source you're trying to watch.

I had the same issue when I first got the box...took me a while to figure it out. Make sure "auto switch to best dolby vision" is off and make sure "dolby vision" is disabled....under the screen resolution settings.
